- Why was my Item rejected?
- We strive to have the greatest quality items available on our marketplace. Our staff will review the quality of an item during the approval process. Quality standards are at the discretion of our staff, but here are some general guidelines to consider:
a) The Item must be useful to buyers,
b) The Item must not include any potentially offensive content (Eg. violent or sexual content, or offensive content),
c) The Item must not be compressed to the point where aesthetic quality suffers,
d) The Item must not include your logo, URL, or watermark (You may include information about your services in an attached help text file),
e) The Item must be well constructed,
f) The Item must be as compatible as possible, and
g) The Item must be easy to customize.
AUDIO: For audio Items, the sound file must sound clear and not include any static or sound distortion. FLASH: Well commented/documented files and instructions help both the buyer and reviewer.
If for some reason an Item does not meet one or more of these requirements, the reviewer will outline the reason the Item has not been approved and in most cases will invite the author to resubmit once improvements have been made.
Occasionally an Item will be rejected for other reasons. Some of these reasons might be:
a) If a series of very similar Items are already in the library,
b) If the Item is corrupted or we suspect it carries a virus, or
c) If the Item is difficult to use or implement.

- I am having trouble uploading an item.
- The maximum item size the Envato Marketplaces accepts is 500MB. - How many Items variations can I upload?
- The maximum number of variations file any author can upload is three. Variations are generally discouraged unless they cannot be accomplished by altering the file after purchase. Variations will only be accepted for sale if they offer a distinct new use to buyers.
