VideoHive: Project Files Upload Instructions

1. Save your main File(s):
   Begin by saving your project file. Please keep any and all assets organized within one folder, and save your project file in the root. This will help prevent broken linkage when your file is distributed.

   Note: If you plan to use custom fonts in your projects please only use free custom fonts. Do not include the font within your zip. Rather, include a link to the font’s download location in your help file. This way if a buyer wants to use the same font, they can. All while avoiding and copyright issues.

2. Grab any appropriate model or location releases:If you have included footage of a recognizable private property or a human face or identifiable feature you will need a signed model or location release. You should scan in the release in PDF or JPG format.
3. Create a help file:
   All project files require adequate help documentation that briefly describes how to modify elements of the project.
4. Zip up your files:
   Create a ZIP of the main file/assets, any appropriate releases, and your help file. A VideoHive staff member will remove the releases prior to approving the file, and you must keep a copy for your records.
Your main file must not exceed 500MB in total size after it’s been compressed. Files over 500MB will not be accepted.
5. Create your preview video:
   Create a smaller FLV version of your video at either 640×360, 960×540 or 720×480 and overlay the matching VideoHive watermark over your video. This will help prevent copyright breach and unauthorized use of your file. The watermark should be used as is. Do not alter it in any way, shape, form or color.Note: Project Files submitted that contain placeholder images/videos from outside, or copyrighted sources will not be accepted. Please only use assets from our Asset Library or original content that you own the rights to as placeholders within your preview.
6. Create a preview image:
   Make a preview image for your file. This image needs to be 590×300, and should a JPEG. This is a great place to make a first impression. Find the perfect place in your video and take a screen shot. You could also use this area to present the video, or show whats included.
7. Create a JPEG Thumbnail:
   Finally create a 80px x 80px JPG or PNG thumbnail for your file. It’s best if your thumbnail is a screenshot of your video in some way.
8. Upload your files to VideoHive!
