Review Times

Why has my file been in the queue for such a long time?
When a file is uploaded it enters a queue to be reviewed. We generally aim for all files to be reviewed within three days, however this can vary if there are a lot of files in queue or if your file requires further investigation or a second opinion prior to a decision being made.

I’ve been waiting for more than three days and I still haven’t heard anything, what’s happening?
Quite often files are held by the reviewers and there are a few reasons as to why this might happen:

- Licensed materials in the file. Your file may have included a font, image, or something similar that requires a license or consent to be distributed by you. If you dont include sufficient evidence that you have the rights to do this then the review team will be in touch.
- Copyright problems. If you have submitted an item that is too similar to another item or may have been sourced elsewhere then an investigation will be performed.
- A second opinion. Sometimes a reviewer may wish to get a second opinion on a file or a certain element of to help them in making the right decision.

Its been a while, when should I contact support?
Once your file has been in the queue for seven days you are welcome to contact support so that they may investigate for you. Questions regarding files that have queued for less than seven days will not be answered as it is likely your file is still simply being investigated by the review team and there is nothing that support can do to speed this up. We always do our best to review files as quickly as possible, however the integrity of the Marketplaces is our prime concern when reviewing files.
