AudioJungle: Source Files Upload Instructions

If you want to make more money per sale, submitting to the source files category is a good idea. Instead of selling a high quality WAV or MP3 audio file, the source files section allows you to sell the project files for your audio, whether you’re using Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase or Reason. Realize that while you do not give the buyer the right to resell the project, they do have the right to make modifications and use the resulting audio in their own projects. The final result may not sound anything like the source files that you sell.

  1. Save your main file(s):
    The “Source File” that you submit will be dependent on the DAW/software you use. For Logic Pro for example, you will need to submit your .logic file. For Fruity Loops Studio, it will be your .FLP file, and so on and so forth for your particular DAW. Then, save/include a high-quality version of your file(s) in either WAV or high quality MP3 format (generally, 128 kbps is sufficient). Note that files of low audio quality will not be accepted. If you are saving a sequence of files, make sure they are appropriately named for clarity.
  2. ZIP up your file(s):
    Create a ZIP archive of your file(s).
  3. Add the Envato watermark to your preview file:
    Make sure the watermark is loud enough to be audible, but not too loud. The watermark should be low enough to let listeners hear the audio without being distracted. If you have a file longer than 2 seconds (i.e. a sound loop) you must first overlay the Envato watermark over your file. The watermark can be downloaded in a set that includes a single WAV file, aswell as 30, 60, 90 and 120 second versions for quick layering and export. If using the single mark, you must add this file at appropriate intervals (approximately once every 10 seconds). This will help prevent copyright breach and unauthorized use of your file, while still allowing listeners to hear most of your audio uninterrupted.
  4. Save your preview file:
    Once the file has the watermark overlayed, you can then produce an MP3 preview version of your file. Again, 128kbps will produce optimal preview results.
  5. Upload your files to AudioJungle!
