On the Marketplaces, files can be removed for sale or download for a number of reasons, which includes but is not limited to the following:

- We may have received a copyright complaint about the item
- The author may have decided to delete the file from our system
- The file may have been disabled due to a problem with it, and could be re-activated again after the problem is fixed and the author has updated it.

Unfortunately when a file is removed or deleted from our system we cannot continue to offer it for purchase nor can we continue to offer it as a download for customers who have already purchased the item. It is important to note that Envato does not make gurarantees as to the ongoing availability of files following initial download for these reasons.

This is why we strongly encourage users to download their files immediately after purchase and to store the originals in a safe place for future access. If you’re having problems with a file which is no longer available for download then see below if you are eligible for a refund.

Am I eligible for a refund?
Envato does have a refund policy surrounding removed files, and we will gladly honor it provided that one of the following two critera is met:

- The file was removed within five days of your initial purchase.
- You have never downloaded the file.

As always, if the file does not work as described, is corrupt or contains bugs and we can verify this, we will offer a full refund of the purchase cost. To submit a refund claim, please contact Support. Please only contact Support for a refund if you meet the above criteria as other claims will be dismissed.

When you click on ‘Purchase’ you will be given the option of whether or not to use your Prepaid Deposits or to Buy Now.

How Does Prepay Work?
If you wish to buy multiple items or items over $20, you should definitely consider our prepay option. Members who deposit over $20 to their prepay account will get any item they purchase using their prepay credits for $2 less! So a $7 item will cost $5 for prepaid customers!

To prepay, you can either click the Deposit button at the top of the page (once logged in), or click to purchase an item you wish to buy, and choose Use Prepaid Deposits. You can then deposit a minimum of $20 to your accounts and use it to purchase any files you wish!

How Does Buy Now Work?
If you want to purchase an item without depositing, all you need to do is select the item you wish to purchase, click Purchase, and select Buy Now. You will then be directed to PayPal to make your payment, and you’ll be able to download your purchase!

Buying an item on the Envato Marketplaces is easy and inexpensive. Here’s your step by step guide to buying your first items.

Step 1: Sign In or Sign Up

In order to purchase an item, you need to be a member of the marketplaces and be logged in. If you have previously signed up, simply enter your login credentials at the top of the page and hit the Sign In button. Otherwise go to the Sign Up page and complete the form. Signing up only takes a minute and you’ll be sent a verification email.

Step 2: Find an Item You Wish to Purchase

There are lots of ways to find items – the most frequently used are the search field at the top of every page, and browsing from the categories button on the top left. Other ways to find items include the popular files page, featured files, and collections. Once you’ve found an item that suits your needs, view the right-hand column and author’s description for information about the item including what files are included, the price, and compatibility. You may also wish to read the comments left by other users in the area below the item details.

Step 3: Purchase an Item

Select a license from the drop-down and click Purchase. A box will appear asking whether you’d like to use Buy Now or Prepaid Deposits. Buy Now allows you the freedom to purchase an item without depositing any money. Prepaid deposits require you to deposit money, but give you a $2 discount on all Envato items. If you’d like to use Prepaid deposits, you’ll need to add some cash to your account. Click Make a Deposit or Deposit in the top panel of any page and you will be directed to the deposit page. Here you can deposit funds via Paypal, Credit Card (through PayPal) or MoneyBookers. The minimum deposit is $20 and the maximum is $100 with $10 increments in between. You can top off your account at any time. Once you have money in your account, if you select Buy Now, you will then be directed to PayPal to make your payment.

Step 4: Download Your Item

You should download your item immediately after purchase as items may be removed from the marketplace from time to time. Just click My Account at the top of the page, then click Downloads. There you should see a list of all the items you’ve bought. Just click the Download button next to the item to download it.

Regular license

The regular license allows you to use an item within a project of your own or on behalf of a client. For example, you could use an item purchased under a regular license in a website, a presentation, a promotional video, a poster or a free game. For web content a regular license is suitable for use on a single domain or single subdomain or single directory. For most buyers the regular license is sufficient.

The main thing you cannot do is offer the item up for resale either on its own or as part of a project. So you can use the item in a free game, but not in a game that is on sale. You can use the item in a website, but not in a web template that you sell.

Extended license

This license is more expensive than the regular license. An extended license lets you use an item in something that will be sold. For example, you could use an item purchased under an extended license in a DVD release for sale, in a game for sale, or on a t-shirt or poster for sale. An extended license is also appropriate for people looking to offer a web template to many users such as on multiple domains, subdomains or sub directories.

An extended license does NOT allow you to resell the item by itself. You may only incorporate the item into a larger work that is then sold. The original item will always remain the property of the author.

Personal license

	The personal license allows you to use an item only for your personal use and pleasure. For example you may purchase an audio track to listen to at home or in your car.
	You may not incorporate the item into any project whether nonprofit or commercial and you may not resell the item in any way.
