Regular License Examples
The Regular License could be used for any of the following:
- Single website (commercial, personal, or non-profit).
- Single website for a client (commercial, personal, or non-profit).
- Single Twitter, MySpace or other social media site.
- Single PowerPoint or KeyNote presentation.
- Single free game.
- Single graphic design project for yourself or a client (eg. stationery, posters, manuals, flyers, brochures etc).
- Single free video such as a free tutorial, animation, cartoon or YouTube™ video.
Extended License Examples
The Extended License could be used for any of the following:
- Single item for sale (eg. used in a book, magazine, greeting card, t-shirt design, game, product packaging, CD, or DVD for sale).
- Single template for resale (website, print, flash, video, etc).
- Single commercial game, whether online, or for computers, or for consoles etc.
- Single piece of computer software or training material, including education material, intended to be distributed or accessed by multiple people.
How much does the Extended License cost for Graphics?
The Extended license costs 15 times the cost of the Regular license of the item. For example, a graphic that’s $5 under a Regular license, would be $75 (15 x $5) under an Extended license.
Important Notes
Each item within a pack is considered to have its own license. For example, someone could purchase a pack of 10 graphic elements and use each graphic element in a different project, as long as each individual graphic element is used in one project only.
Graphics purchased under an extended license MAY be used within website templates for sale on ThemeForest or ActiveDen.
Items purchased under a regular or extended license may NOT be redistributed or resold “as-is” or as part of any other collection of image resources or files.
Design Templates
Regular License Examples
The Regular License could be used for any of the following:
- Single graphic design project.
- Single brochure, program, resume, business card, or poster design (not for resale).
Extended License Examples
The Extended License could be used for any of the following:
- Print on demand service offering design templates.
How much does the Extended License cost for Design Templates?
The Extended license costs 50 times the cost of the Regular license of the item. For example, a design template that’s $5 under a Regular license, would be $250 (50 x $5) under an Extended license.
Important Notes
Packs of items are each considered to have their own license. For example, someone could purchase a regular license of a pack of design templates, and use each template within a different project, as long as they only used each template in one project only.
Design Templates purchased under a regular or extended license may NOT be used within other Envato marketplace items.
